Born in the vibrant city of Cuernavaca, our founder, Aaron, grew up with a deep appreciation for nature, nurtured by the lush landscapes surrounding his family's home in Morelos.
It was there that he developed a passion for birding, often spending weekends exploring the nearby forests and lakes with his family, their binoculars and cameras in tow. His fascination with the beautiful birds he would spot ignited a lifelong love affair with the natural world. This passion only got brighter when his family moved to Brownsville. The city’s unique location offers a rich tapestry of cultures and a stunning natural environment.
Aaron was immediately captivated by the area's diverse bird species, which flock to the Rio Grande Valley during their migratory journeys. He was also entranced by the network of waterways that crisscross the city.
After the passing of his father in 2021, he found himself longing for new adventures and a fresh perspective on life. In search of the perfect blend of nature and opportunity. It was here that he envisioned the beginnings of his kayak rental and tour business, a venture that would allow others to experience the hidden beauty of Brownsville from the water.
With unwavering determination, Aaron turned his dream into a reality. He acquired kayaks, safety equipment, and a deeper knowledge of the local waterways. Visitors are drawn not only to the kayaking experience but also to Aaron’s infectious enthusiasm for birding and the world around him.
Aaron’s journey from Mexico City to Brownsville serves as a testament to the power of following one's passions and the transformative impact of nature.
